While looking through the Merlot database I stumbled upon the following website. Check it out. Utah State University National Library of Virtual Manipulatives, is a great website that can help teach students about math. Applicable for grades k-12 for available in both english and spanish.

The following message was forwarded to me by a former Algebra student of mine and I thought that I would share it with everyone.

What Does It Mean To Be 100% from a strictly mathematical viewpoint?
What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%?
Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%?
We have all been in situations where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 101%?
What equals 100% in life?

Student Line Grapher

The Student Line Grapher is very similiar to the Flash Line Grapher but was designed to asses students understanding of how to graph whereas the Flash Line Grapher was designed to teach students how to graph lines. This module can still be used to teach students how to graph lines but that was not the focus of the design.

Usage:

Graphing a line

Make sure that shading is not selected. Click two points that are part of the line.
To draw a new line click two new points.

Multiplication Practice

Practice your multiplication by dragging the number on top to where it goes in the answer below the problem. When you think you have it correct. Click check.
